Brief
To create a brand concept for a Toronto based vintage furniture store start up, that is distinguished from local competitors and catering to a millenial audience entering a new stage of life.
Response
The idea ‘Look back to look forwards’ informs the name, Yesterday Today. Told through the story of each piece, the customer is invited to become part of that story. Influenced by the structural form of furniture, key to the brand’s visual identity is a bespoke typeface and icon set.
